After two months, I finally had the courage to ask my wife to ask our gardener who he voted for.
I have known Edgar for nearly 18 years, about half of his life. When we bought our first house in Los Angeles, the owner told us that one of the conditions was to continue to employ her gardener, Raphael. Being from suburban New Jersey, I had no idea that people who weren’t British aristocracy had gardeners. I had no idea what these gardeners would do, or how I would talk to these gardeners about what they did, especially since the house had no garden.
